- Most of us know the catchy classroom rhyme—“divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived”—but few of us ever got to explore the personalities, rivalries, and real-life drama behind Henry VIII’s six wives; Six takes that familiar hook and flips it into a fresh, lively portrait of these women as more than just footnotes in history. - The show is a bold reinvention that gives each queen her own voice through a contemporary, pop-infused score, a diverse cast, modern cultural references, irresistible hooks, and eye-catching costumes, all threaded together with a strong streak of female empowerment that makes the past feel brilliantly relevant today. - Clocking in at just 75 minutes, Six is tailor-made for travelers who crave a memorable night out without committing to a long performance—it's the kind of high-energy, compact musical you can fit into an evening between dinner and late-night plans or enjoy as a quick cultural stop while sightseeing. - Critics have praised the show’s hybrid energy—part pop concert, part musical theatre—for welcoming audiences who might not normally visit the West End, especially younger fans who are happy to capture the finale on their phones; by embracing social media and buzzing with vitality, Six injects a fresh jolt into the theatre scene and feels like exactly the kind of theatrical wake-up call modern stages need.
