Discover your experience
The Eurail Mobile Pass comes in two types: Continuous and Flexi, offering options that range from a minimum of four travel days within a month to a maximum of a three-month consecutive pass, allowing you to choose the most suitable travel experience based on your itinerary and preferences.
With the Eurail Pass in hand, you gain access to an extensive network spanning the national rail systems of 33 European countries, including, but not limited to, Austria, Belgium, and Italy, right through to Sweden, Turkey, and Wales, opening doors to a myriad of enchanting destinations and enriching cultural experiences.
While most trains will allow you to hop on simply by presenting your Eurail Pass, do keep in mind that there are certain exceptions where a seat reservation is required, so it’s wise to check in advance to ensure a smooth journey.
Upon purchasing your Eurail Mobile Pass, you’ll receive a confirmation number that you’ll need to enter in the Rail Planner app, which you can easily download on your device. This handy app is designed to help you plan your journey, track your trips, and present your mobile tickets seamlessly, making the travel experience not only enjoyable but also incredibly convenient.
One of the remarkable features of the Eurail Pass is that it allows children aged 4 to 11 to travel for free when accompanied by an adult; however, it's essential to note that this offer is not applicable in cases where a reservation fee is mandatory. Up to two children can share the company of one adult during the journey, so if two adults are traveling, they can take up to four kids along with them. For families with more than two children along for the ride, a separate Youth Pass will be necessary for each additional child. Additionally, a child traveling with an adult who holds a Senior Pass or a Youth Pass will not be eligible for free travel and will need to purchase a Child Pass.
The Eurail Global Pass is packed with benefits, granting you unlimited train rides to explore over 40,000 destinations across its 33 participating countries, which stretches the possibilities of your European adventure beyond imagination.
You can choose between consecutive or flexible passes to tailor your travel experience according to your plans and desires, and your pass remains valid for up to 11 months from the date of issuance, giving you plenty of flexibility to explore.
There's no need to lock in a specific start date until you're ready to travel, allowing you to keep your plans adaptable to suit any spontaneous adventures that come your way.
Children under 12 can travel free with an adult, making it an excellent option for families looking for budget-friendly travel solutions, and discounts abound with a Global Pass on services ranging from sightseeing buses, ferries, and hostels to food and much more, making your European exploration even more affordable.
When compared to purchasing individual travel tickets, the Eurail Pass proves to be a more economical choice, allowing you to embrace the freedom of travel without breaking the bank, provided that the passes are exclusively available to non-European residents, opening up a world of seamless and unforgettable European journeys for visitors from abroad.
