Antelope Canyon

Amazing natural wonder - a must-visit near Page, Arizona! Visiting Antelope Canyon Tours was one of the highlights of our trip. The slot canyon features smooth, twisting sandstone walls and dramatic light beams when the sun is in the right position. What we loved: - The scenery is unforgettable - the light, colors, and shapes inside the canyon are spectacular. - Our Navajo guide was knowledgeable, patient, and helped us get great photos. Tips: - You must book a tour; independent access is not allowed. - It can be crowded and feel rushed at times, especially in peak season. - Book early if you want the light beams - they are best around midday. Overall: A breathtaking experience that is worth the cost if you love nature and photography. Come prepared with comfortable shoes, water, and a good camera.Meer tonen

Spectacular and unique - photographs don't do it justice. We visited Lower Antelope Canyon in December. Tours sell out, so book tickets in advance through one of the tour groups.Meer tonen

Upper Antelope Canyon, tucked into the sunbaked desert of northern Arizona, is an awe-inspiring destination that captivates anyone who ventures into its winding passageways. Formed over thousands of years by water and wind, the sandstone walls rise above visitors to create a surreal corridor of light and shadow. As the sun travels across the sky, beams filter through narrow openings in the rock ceiling, illuminating the sculpted walls in shifting oranges, reds, purples, and golds. This interplay of light turns the canyon into a living painting that changes mood with every moment. Walking through Upper Antelope Canyon feels like entering a sacred work of art, where every curve and groove tells the story of time. The slot canyon’s smooth, flowing walls inspire serenity and wonder, drawing photographers, nature lovers, and curious travelers. Each turn reveals another natural sculpture carved by flash floods and gradual erosion. The quiet is almost complete, broken only by footsteps or a tour guide’s soft explanation of the canyon’s history. Visiting Upper Antelope Canyon is more than sightseeing; it is an immersion in nature’s quiet majesty, leaving visitors with photos and a lasting sense of wonder and respect.Meer tonen
